Most accredited media will have tickets for the North Gate entrance which means you may prefer to stay in a house, north of the Rowing Lake, so you can gain entry via the North Gate (the main gate for Dorney Lake outside the Olympics).
If you select a good location, you may even be able to walk to the venue each day, or cycle.
