River Thames
The River Thames offers a wide variety of enjoyable activities from River Trips with French Brothers boats, which leave from Windsor at regular times. Swans can be fed at Windsor, near the Eton Bridge. Rowing boats can be hired if you fancy a quiet afternoon in the backwaters. The Thames Path offers walkers an extensive selection of options from walking into Windsor from Dorney Lake, to walking to Maidenhead. There are many beautiful restaurants along the River, from Stroks at Windsor, to The Riverside Inn at Bray and the Compleat Angler and The Ferry at Marlow.
