Official ticket holders will cover a multitude of descriptions, but Lakelets has been informed by LOCOG that these ticket holders will be able to gain access from the northern entrance (North Gate).
The northern entrance is the main gate to the rowing lake under normal circumstances (link to photograph and map). Please make sure that you have the correct ticket as you do not wish to be on the wrong side of the River Thames, only to find that your ticket requires you to drive a very long distance around the local roads to get to the other entrance.
If you require any further information, have a look at the official Olympics website for travel information.

BY CAR
Please note that tickets will have prescribed itineraries for your chosen mode of transport.
There are three official train stations for the Rowing Olympic Venue - Maidenhead, Windsor and Eton Riverside and Slough. Each of these stations will have a dedicated coach shuttle service to the main spectator entrance, which is south of the river, through Windsor Race Course and pedestrian access across the bridge to the venue. If you travel to a different station, you may find yourself very inconvenienced due to high traffic volumes.
BY COACH
Only special pre-arranged groups travelling by coach can enter into the Windsor Race Course. Other groups will have to park at one of the four designated Park and Ride locations at Maidenhead, Ascot, High Wycombe and Slough and travel to the venue via the shuttle service.
BY TAXI (to be confirmed by LOCOG)
Taxis may drop off passengers near the entrance to the Race Course for you to walk to the bridge over to Eton Dorney Rowing Lake. Please be aware that traffic may be heavy and allow plenty of time for your journey.
